Humanitarian Aid for Families Affected by the Earthquakes
Venezuela is facing an emergency after earthquakes have affected families, communities, and churches in different areas of the country. Many people are in urgent need of help: food, drinking water, medicine, hygiene items, clothing, blankets, and basic support.
SOS Venezuela is a humanitarian aid initiative created to channel donations responsibly, transparently, and compassionately on behalf of families affected by this emergency.

How to donate?
Who is administering this campaign?
Donations are received and administered by Seminario Bautista Independiente, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the United States.
All funds will be designated to the SOS Venezuela fund, which has been created exclusively to provide humanitarian aid in response to the earthquakes in Venezuela.
The campaign is being coordinated in the United States by Pastor Roberto Lozano, president of Seminario Bautista Independiente.
In Venezuela, we are working with Iglesia Bíblica Bautista de Valencia, pastored by Pastor Klixon Castillo, as our local ministry partner to help facilitate the purchase and distribution of humanitarian aid to families in need.
The aid
Through this partnership, we seek to turn the funds raised into practical assistance for families affected by the earthquake. This aid may include:
basic food supplies;
drinking water;
medicine and first-aid supplies;
hygiene items;
clothing and blankets;
basic support for affected families;
logistical expenses directly related to the distribution of aid.
Transparency and Accountability
We want every donor to have confidence in how their donation is used. For this reason, we will keep records of:
donations received;
payment processing costs;
funds sent for humanitarian aid;
reports received from Venezuela;
the type of aid purchased or distributed;
areas or communities served;
logistical expenses related to the distribution of aid.
We will publish periodic updates with as much clarity as possible, while respecting the privacy and dignity of the people receiving assistance.
Unavoidable costs related to payment processing, bank transfers, or logistics may be covered by the fund and reflected in the transparency reports.
Our motivation
As Christians, we believe we are called to show practical compassion to those who are suffering. In times of pain and need, we desire to serve with love, responsibility, and transparency.
This campaign is not affiliated with the Venezuelan government or with any political party. Our purpose is to help families affected by the earthquakes through trustworthy and responsible channels.
